I didn't suggest for one minute that he should turn down West Brom for us, but if we had gone after him a few weks ago, when we sold Cox, we could maybe have got him then. I am just pissed off that a week from the season we still don't have a striker, and all the likely replacements , like Reid, are slipping by. But wise and educated men like you know that the longer we leave it, the better striker we will end up with.
How the fuck do you know we didn't go for him? Just because it wasn't in the Adver does not mean it didn't happen. |
