Luke Garrard leaving Boreham Wood at the end of the season
Seen a few on twitter saying they’d take him.

I’d take him. Can’t do any worse than Gunning and has years of experience now. Overachieved with Boreham Wood and certainly overstayed. I’m sure he had a lot of offers from League Two clubs over the years and I would be very surprised if Swindon hadn’t approached him at some point. I would rather the Aldershot manager ideally if I was to pick a NL manager tho. Goes without saying though, it doesn’t really matter who we get with our fraud owners. He isn’t going to get a manager in a job, it’ll be a manager out of the job for a while or a youth coach, or Shan. That’s who my money is currently on.

We are not in much of a position to choose, but I'm a big no to Garrard. He is essentially.leaving his current role politely as he's getting them relegated. The ex swindon connection is not enough to get me excited about bringing in an ultimately never successful long ball merchant.

Scott Lindsey rather harshly not nominated for L2 manager of the year... Clough, Bell and Williamson nominated.

Would anyone want Lindsey back?
Should we be burdened by a collective guilt in not fully embracing his tenure as manager?
Did a sense of entitlement get the better of us?

No, No, No
Just because we got shitter does not mean he would be the answer to any problem we are faced with. Not to a competent, transparent and ambitious ownership - and therein lies the problem.

I'm (and I daresay many others) baffled as to how Crawley are challenging for the play-offs this season. I don't recall (m)any who hadn't tipped them for the drop after they sold off a lot of their more experienced playing staff and replaced them with players from the Conference North/South. When we beat them 6-0 I thought they would fall down the table but they've really had a very good season and credit has to be given to SL.
Given what happened at Swindon I wouldn't want him back, but I daresay that he is now on managerial shortlists so he's making a good fist of his career.

They do have an experienced centre half though.

Good luck to him...BUT...he fucked it for himself at the Town. A post above says entitlement....he was the one that came across like that early doors.

Kidderminster Harrier defender Matt Preston formerly of this parish scores for both teams in a 3 : 1 win at promoted Chesterfield on Easter Monday. Harriers who are fighting relegation are managed by former Swindon manager, Phil Brown.
