Yeah was with us a year or 2 I understand, played a lot of games for England at every level up to U19 and scored at every level too. I am pretty sure we got a fee for him a few years back with another youngster who went to Chelsea at the same time. |

Chelsea seem to take an awful lot of our prospective youth players down the years, the pull of attracting the attention of a huge club far outweighs the pull of little old Swindon for many youngsters and their families. If their family are not Swindon supporters then of course they will take these offers of possible wealth and fame at a big club and even though there are development fees which although £10k here and there is good for the clubs coffers the prospective raw talent would far outweigh that fee. |
