I'd rather have Jack Douglas than 10/11 Douglas, or Carl Douglas.
I'd rather have post crash Douglas Bader than 10/11 Douglas

Well.. Ferry was better than Douglas in 09/10 anyway.
Yeah of course he was.

I could see that there would be advantages if you wanted to knock over the half time cups of tea or wanted to start kung fu fighting.

Even though I am pissed off at the way he left stating he wanted to stay when in actual fact he didn't, I would happily have Douglas back. I think he was an excellent defensive midfielder.

Have to say he was the one player that left that I was disappointed to lose. I think without the rest of the Leeds mafia, he could/would still be able to do a job for us.

Douglas is and was brilliant. He'd sometimes just control the game from in front of the centre-backs Scholes style, was a joy too watch at times. Would have him back in an instant, was gutted to lose him last season despite the debacle of the Leeds brigade ect.

Douglas in 09/10 put in the best season from a CM we have had for many years. Ferry was very good but that was in part down to Dougie putting in a shift every game that allowed Ferry a bit more freedom.
I'd have Dougie back in a heartbeat based on the fact he got a POTY last season for a decent league 1 team

First season Dougie was the midfielder we'd waited years for. the second season Dougie was a cunt. I wouldn't have him back.

Douglas made Ferry a better player too, they worked well together. Ferry has never played as well for us as he did that season, and a lot of that was down to Douglas.
Douglas was probably the best midfielder we have had since the Moncur/Hazard days.
