If you've got Mobile Me the "find my iPhone" for when you lose your phone is good. It will track it down pretty accurately, send a message to it, sound an alert on it (useful when its on silent and its nearby) and will also perform a remote wipe of all data on it.
Otherwise; copy & paste, landscape everywhere, spotlight search (scroll left from main app page) and autofill.
I know some people are getting excited about MMS and forwarding SMS but it doesn't do much for me.
Trying to decide if I need to get the 3GS when I'm allowed to upgrade in a few months. On the one hand I'm not sure I need the features but on the other hand it would be rude not to.

I've seen some comparisons between pictures taken with the 3G and 3GS and they are a lot better on the 3GS. As far as I'm aware the 3.0 upgrade doesn't do anything for picture quality on the 3G, ie it is still shit, really shit. |

Unless you were a subscriber a year ago when they totally fucked everything up by launching Mobile Me alongside the iPhone 3G and it all went pete tong - I think I ended up with the best part of a years subscription for free. They do need to reduce the price a fair bit though, or include it with the iPhone for free. |
