It's amazing how small the TE is eh?  I rarely go anywhere else in the ground and it always amazes me how how very tiny it is, those pics really demonstrate it.  The back row, where I frequent, is about the same height as the top of the lower tear of the DR.  Would have been nice if we'd had a stand like the home end at the Bescott or something there.

I think one of my favourite 'ends' is at Selhurst, big old stand that for a non-bowl ground.

That stand at the Bescott holds 6-7000 doesn't it? It's ridiculous. They only reason they've built that is because they can't develop the rest of the ground. It amazes me when you look at the old videos and the Town End looks so much bigger with all those people packed in. Ut would be great if we could have another 5-10 rows of seats in there, but the way things were last season they'd all be empty anyway!

The only reason they've built it is because it finances itself through the sponsorship deals for it as it's seen by millions of people every day. it was in effect free.
