I got a ring from my mate at half time asking a question about something and he said why don't you come over and we'll watch the second half or play a bit of pro evo if it carries on. I said why not. I said to my dad " I'm going out mate," he replied "To watch the game? It's already over" I said "Oh yeah. Anyway might as well" I didn't even know the score until I put the radio on the way over and heard it was 3-0 and they were discussing the heaviest champions league final defeats.
anyway i turn up and walk through the door (it's always left open when someones in) and find that another mate who was watching it had gone to the chippie. by the time he'd returned it was 3-2. when he walked through the door i said "there's been another two goals," "5-0? Bloody hell" he says, "No, 3-2" I say, "Bloody hell" he says, "Quite" I say.
Then Gerrard falls theatrically, Alonso misses the penalty and then almost sent the rebound over the stand but it just managed to creep into the top of the netting on its way up. Then the rest was all a bit predictable... Dudek pulling off a wonder double save and then saving two penalties - everyone knew that was going to happen. Even Djibril Cisse scored a penalty, despite being a freak. What a delightful evening.

I'll ban you again!
Tonight was good not just because it's nice to see an English team lift the european cup but the game itself embodied everything that makes football the best thing on earth.

Yeh SY! i supported Liverpool when i was younger and Swindon, since i was about 11/12 though i have been commited to Swindon, but to see Liverpool win was brilliant, its good for English Football bringing home the Champions League.
Even when Man U won i was this happy, cause i always want the English teams to win it (MU was harder to accept though obviously, hate Manure)

What's with all this English team nonsense? You wouldn't be happy if Oxford or City won it (as if that would ever happen )

The landlord of the pub that we were watching it in was a Liverpool fan and he was going mental at the end and decided to gve everyone drinks on the house, so that was good. Also my mate was quite upset because he would have had 90 quid if Milan won on pens
