It's a shame the ground entrance isn't as tidy these days.

Great photo.
So the houses opposite hadn't gone up then.

Looks like a Michelin Tyres advert next door.
For what?! The push bikes.  Smiley

Must have been nice crossing County Road, without fear of being run over!

Not the actual football ground but an interesting picture all the same.

The County Ground Hotel and entrance to the football club in 1914. Posted on FB earlier.

That small building between the CGH and the end terrace house has gone and someone decided to plant a horse chestnut tree in the front by the road.

Great pic. How much neater does the area look back then!

It's only 105 years ago.

Have some really fond memories of drinking there in years gone by, had some right tear ups in and around it as well.
Think Ricky Porter was the landlord when I first started going in there, followed the infamous Peter Neal (what a fucking legend).Goes a bit hazy after that but I think Pete came back for a second stint after some Brizzle midget ran it for a while, followed by some twat that had a false leg that squeaked .
Sandie was there for a while but I cant remember if she was there before Petes second stint.
Sorry for the ramblings

I remember Ricky Porter, baseball bat in hand, on the bar when a group of Burnley fans got out of hand.

Weirdly Ive been going to the county ground since about 1990 and the first time Ive ever been into the CGH was after the Bradford game.

I feel like I have missed very little.
