Ill renew mine in June whn I get back from Canada. Going to Canada at end of may so cannot afford to get the cheaper ticket.

Where are you going to in Canada Gazza? Went there 5 years ago and loved the place.

Toronto, I used to live over there for a bit... Plus its my birthday so my parents (who still live over there) may either a) give me back some of the airfare that will go towards my season ticket or b) give me the whole balance for my season ticket!

I'm still sitting on the fence. If we go down I'm going to have to think long and hard about renewing, having to pay more for a lower division is asking a bit much. But on the other hand, if we do go down I'm confident we'll get promoted straight away so at least I should get to see them winning a fair few games and playing better football (than the opposition).

But I'm also confident 49 points will be enough, so as soon as we hit that I'll most likely renew straight away.

Hoping to be an ex pat in Tampa by this time next year.

Lucky you. Want a couple of stowaways (aka bag carriers)?

I read in the program today that if you win 'Stand Buy Me' and have already bought an ST, then you'll get your ST money refunded.

Also an interesting interview with yer man Andrew Fitton.

Well there is quite a lot there, it is spread over 6 or so pages, but most notably he says they have their eyes on 4 or 5 key players to sign next season - I am assuming that he means externals - and that the squad will be smaller, which makes sense.

Some very fair comment about Cox as well: We don't need to sell him to stay afloat, but at the same time if we hang on to him against his will then we'd struggle to attract similar such players who want first team football to showcase their talent.

And at the end he speaks of wanting to add 500 new fans a season, though the sub-text is that they are not neccesarily as season ticket holders.

Actually that wasn't the end, but near it.

At the end he mentions the Bill Power court case, reckons it would cost a combined £1m in legal fees, which is a shame. Not sure if that would be re-payable by the Wills' or not.

I believe there is a get-out for Fitton and co, the Wills' would pick up any such bill (perhaps Diamond Mike will pay it out of petty cash).  He will be hard pushed to add 500 extra fans next season after the crap we have been served up this time round.  Having said that, I think our gates have actually held up very well this season, all things considered.

Went to Vancouver / Rockies. I have a friend who lives in Niagara Falls (Canada) about 80 miles from Toronto? Must visit that area some day.

Back to thread.... I will be buying 2 this week (same seats) whatever division we end up in.  Thumb
