It seems to me that there is a big problem on this forum with iliterasy. I am fortunate because I went to a private school and had a good education so my spelling is obviousley superiour to those who went to the schools where the poor people and black people go. In the old days of this forum and the thisis forum spelling standards were much better. Grammer to was much more high erer. I think it has to do with all that text speak that young people do which debases the queens english. Also that is why they make the GCSES easier every year to allow for kids who don't write proper. Cmon people lets get back to the 3 rs.  |

Love it. The thread title should, in actually queens english fact, have a comma between iliterasy and the rest of it.

Either way,iliterasy isn't the problem - thats doing quite well for itself amongst the TEFers. Its the lack of literacy that is the problem. All being said i think the biggest problem is you. Starting stupid & pointless threads, most of which create quite blunt sarcastic responses like "funny" or "clever"...just because nobody cares,and probably don't like you 'cause most of what you say is insulting to people.
I like your literasy - whatever that is. But you're literacy - now thats quite funny if you can't spell what you are insulting people of being!
PS - I never went to private school. Prove GCSE's (not GCSES) are easier - not that kids are getting clever-ererererererererer.

In the old days of this forum (and the 'thisis' forum), spelling standards were much better. The grammar level too, was much higher. I think it is to do with all of the 'text-speak' that young people use, which fucks the use of the the queens English up. Also, this is why, I believe, they make GCSE exams easier each year - in order to allow those kids, who don't write properly,the possibility of at least getting a better grade than 'Ungraded' .
This is actually shit in itself. Each sentence has too many clauses. Poor effort. |
