That's a bit of a coincidence because I tried listening to Elbow's recent album this afternoon. I really don't like it.

I dunno really. I liked the zutons first album, thought theit second was a bit dull, all too radio2.

I like MGMT's album. The flaming lips have a new album out this year I think, looking forward to that. Apart from that it's all been a bit bleak. Think I've just got a bit bored of all the samey 'indie' guitar by numbers bands.

Maybe. I think it's more me than the quality of the music though.

Not strictly true YB as there is a thriving Two Tone/Ska live music scene, all of the old groups (with the exception of the Specials) have never stopped touring and live gigs often in front of 2-3,000 people.

The Beat, Madness, Bad Manners, Selector, Nev Staples Specials and many more have never stopped touring as The Specials did, which is why these gigs are very "ahem" special!

Just got back!

What a great weekend in the smoke....Specials Friday night and Prisicilla Queen of the desert last night.

Specials were excellent....Venue at Brixton (my first time there) was brilliant, acoustics and view spot on.  I hate the bigger venues of Millenium, Wembley and NIA....

It was a scorching show and so hot....i reckon we lost 5 lbs between us.....just great!!!!

Thanks Mex....quality.....

I am still buzzing about it.

My last two gigs were Neil Diamond at NIA (with the mums) and Rod Stewart at Millenium Stadium - bigger and shitter.......Rod Stewart especially shit....give me BIC, Colston Hall and this place any day!

What did you think of Dub Pistols my missus loved the Reggae guy..........i liked the guy who looked like Robson Green who looked fucked out of his head....he was like a naughty schoolboy at the school play!!!
