I've got Black Apalachi and Offshore Account in the DVDF sweep. Not completely hopeless as top 5 payout.

Black Apalachi looks a decent good value e/w bet.
Fundamentalist for the long shot

Every year I put on 5 bets as there are 5 of us and its always the kids who win. This year we've gone for: Cloudy Lane Knowhere Big Fella Thanks Silver Birch Mon Mome
Each of them £10 E/W. In the last 5 years I've cleared about £400 profit. This year its pay back time.
