Today is the day it all goes down. The City is basically shutdown.

Will there be a full scale riot or will the police be able to prevent that. Basically something is gonna kick off but will be interesting to see to what extent. There is a lot of anger over the massive bail out of the banks which we are all gonna pay for and imo its right that people should express this anger.

Bollocks - just a load of fucking spoilt students with nothing better to do and some "extreme" pillocks that are just looking for something to put their name against........

Lock the fucking lot of 'em up if they step out of line......

eugh - what exactly will protesting achieve? - you cant undo something thats already been done? - most them them look like a load of old hippys that could do with having a wash and getting a job anyway - probably dont even pay taxes - I think some people just liek ahvign aprotest for the sake of it so it can feel like the olden days

Im more interested in what Michelle Obama is wearing! Wink

Protesting got rid of Diamandis in the end, so in our case it achieved an awful lot.

If the people want to protest, then let them.  I love it, the million strong anti-war protest was brilliant.  I really should go along to one of these protests one day, let's hope there's a people's protest against the way the MP's abuse their power,  I wouldn't mind joining in that.

And the "what's protesting going to achieve" well I'm glad that some Town fans protested a year or so ago, okay we may not have even played a part in what actually happened (or maybe we did) but it was good to let the old board what we felt.

Power (but not too much) to the people!!

Very little to note at Waterloo this morning.  Although I did see someone wearing dredlocks.

Sections of the press are going to be gutted if the 'violent protests' don't materialise.

Not as gutted as the police will be. They've been building up the testosterone for month. They need to crack some hippy skulls today or some badly parked motorist will get a kicking when they get back to their beat.

Luckily the overtime will soften it a bit.

Well I work providing tech support for Lloyds and all their staff who work in their offices and branches in the City are working from home today.
