Why is Liverpool winning the Champions League gonna benefit British Football PM?

Alright, I'll take the British out of it and just say English.

Thankfully it would have no positive repercussions north of the border.

That's better PM, it wouldn't benefit God's country at all would it?

So Oxford Utd v Roma in the 2015 Champions League final and you'd be cheering on the boys in yellow, because it would benefit English football.  Interesting point.  I don't think I could do the same.

Thats different. Oxford are the main local rivals of the team I support. Therefore I would want them to lose regardless of any benefit to English football.

Its not a problem that likley to arise in the near future though is it? Cheesy

Oh dear Marie, I'll open this one up to the floor.  Do i hate Owen, Carrager & Gerrard when they play for England?  That could be one of the easiest questions I've ever had to answer.

Marie, I dislike the English national team more than I dislike Liverpool you daft lady.  Owen, Carragher, Gerrard, and any other English international wouldn't be welcome round mine for a cuppa.  Let's not get into the English thing tho, England has nothing to do with this debate.

Let's just stick to supporting AC Milan!!!

My mum's English my Dad's scottish.  Dad managed to brainwash me from an early age.  So it's been Scotland ever since I can remember.  Some call it child abuse some call it a blessing.  The way our rugby and football team are playing at the minute I'm close to contacting Gary Stanley's uncle to look into sueing my dad.

PM - My sister was born in Germany, doesn't make her German.  I was born in RAF Wroughton which i'm happy about, if I was born elsewhere I may not have grown into the town fan I am now.  Just following in my dad's footsteps mate, nothing wring with that is there?
