I passed mine last year a couple of years ago and it is pretty impossible to fail unless you really don't have a clue.  It more of a certificate to say you have gone through the process rather than have passed.  It is used more as way of ensuring that coaches are vetted to be able to coach kids rather than actually meaning that you are a good coach, but you do learn some useful exercises by doing it.

As has been said, Level 2 is where it really starts to pick up and there is some serious work done in the classroom and training ground, that is a proper certification.

If you are struggling with Level 1 then you probably should stay away from the whole coaching thing.

It's not struggling as such, i've pretty much completed the theory work already. There's just parts where I think, what do I write here. It's nothing to do with knowing about football, I think it's my writing skills if that makes sense?

Don't put uneccesary weight on your shoulders by worrying it about it too much.  On the final day on which you will find out if you have passed it is all about theory anyway and whether you can carry out a training exercise.  That is the thing that will get you the certificate, not so much the written work.  Level 2 is a different matter though.

As long as you show that you have an understanding of what you have been taught you will be OK.  They don't put too much importance on whether it is worded correctly etc. they take an overall view of whether you understand what has been taught.

If you like Cheesy.
Most of it is piss easy, you can copy most of it from the books you get with it.
But certain bits I never know what to put.

I havent done my level 2 but I know alot of people have and helped a friend finish his off.

My old 'boss' being a cheap skate would only pay for the most basic training for his coaches. When I've been working for a while I'll look towards doing level 2, then 3 then I'll manage STFC and we might win a game Smiley

My coaches are level 2 and 3.
They're both part of 'Jamie Shore Soccer International'. Who did you work for DV?

You can do that, or take a trip down to Greendown School, which is where a lot of the Wiltshire courses take place, and they would probably be able to give you a booking form.
