I'm going on Thursday and Friday - 'working from home' today.  Haven't missed a Festival since 91. Even though they've arsed up this year, missing St Pats and my birthday, tut, it's still the best week of the year. Christmas for Grown Ups.... |

I think it means it's winning but the jokey isn't using the whip i.e. coasting the horse to victory. I could be utterly wrong though, as I thought the term ws ridden out or something similar. |
