First of all, we were shite last season because I'm pissed now and tomorrow morning will not be fun and my memeory is being selective but we were. thats my argument.

I thought Cox was shite again today. I don't buy the attacking midfielder role bollocks. It's been said for ages that he gets through too much fucking work in all the wrong areas. He's a fucking striker - end of. Bout time Wilson told him that in no uncertain terms if he hasn't done so already.

Agree that Kanu has loads of potential and is a quality player but he's in Aljofree's 'playing for myself' gang at the moment. He took bollockings from Vincent, Greer and Nallis on 3 seperate occasions today for being too fucking selfish and keeping the ball then losing it, rather than just playing an obviously easy pass to keep a flowing move going. He'll probably develop with a bit more experience and games under his belt but we need his creativity during the run in. Not knocking him too hard as can take the piss when he wants to and gives us options when he's in the mood. I'd just prefer to see him playing a genuine part in the team rather than cunting around as an individual who's motivated only for himself.

I don't know how many compo exec lounge pints Juddie put away before the match - sadly not enough to have chinned the ugly fucking Franchise supremo, Winkledick - but I thought Nallis and Timlin pretty much ran the midfield today. If you look at the chances we made and the overall restrictions we put on franchises' goal scoring opportunities, it suggests that either they weren't up to much as a team, or our central midfielders bossed the middle of the park and kept them quiet. Nallis and Timlin have both had extreme periods of fucking shittness this season and have rightly been slaughtered, but I thought they did all the simple things right today.

Anyway. it was a much better and more committed performance from everyone today. I thought Wilson was either fucking brave or fucking stupid to drop Ifil after one shit performance under him last Tuesday, but sticking Morrison in paid off as he had a very solid game alongside Greer, and Ifil looked much stronger and more confident when he came on.

Wilson does seem to be taking firm control of the squad. He clearly doesn't give a fuck about reputations or the opinions of others and just gets on with playing and motivating a side to do a job for him. He does need to get some wins on the board soon, but I suspect he knows exactly who's going to be on his retention list and who's going to be fucked off at the earliest opportunity when the season finishes.

It was ace to see the 69 players get such a good round of applause today. Franchise fans must of wondered what that strange looking silver cup thingy was that was being handed around and held up high by the ex town players, but at least some of the thieving cunts had the good grace to stand up and clap some genuine fucking top-draw legends of the game they've recently latched on to - the plastic motherfucking cunts!

At the moment I am looking purely at points. We do not win enough, the odd draw here and there is alright if you back them up with a few wins. Leicester and Millwall were good draws but then we go and lose to Hartlepool. We'd have been better off losing to Leicester and Millwall and beating Hartlepool.

FWIW I agree with you, I was just trying to give an explanation of the bitter/sweet reaction to this result. I'm hoping we are wrong and the more optimistic are right.

On Easton he was superb last season. Something can't be right with him to be overlooked by malpas, Byrne and now Williams though.

Oh come on, we were shite last season but it eas more excusable as we'd just gone up. Easton wasn't robbed of POS by Comminges, Comminges was the wild card that came good.Technically he was a bit dodgy but he won us over with his desire. He was also quite a hard bastard as Swansea will no doubt testify to.
I agree with chalkie here, bar one or two performances last season we were crap, and it's been the same for the last 10 years at least, seen it before though we'll be on the way up shortly, we just need to stay up this season, then i feel the tide may turn. Get rid of the deadwood in the summer and all will be bright.

You absolutely battered us and deserved to win by 6/7 goals at least. By far the best side we have played all season.

If you continue to play like that you will rocket up the table

Re the silverware - we have 2 very nice shiney trophy's of our own thanks

The problem is we only perform against good teams.

It's no point playing well against top ten sides if you can't get a result against those at the bottom of the table.

Fucking annoying and infuriating.

This comment from Moocamp makes me feel sick.

Quote
still enroute back, we were foobing shite today! Only one team wanted to win today and im more embarassed about nicking a point today than nicking a club! We deserved to get beat 6/7 nil.

If you had the brains to realise what I ment by that...oh never mind! Embarrassed

Sean O'Hanlon in the News Of The Worlds League 1 Team of the week.

What an absolute pile of shit. Most of the sparse write up was about a 'penalty' the RDM claimed they should've had.

Do these shit rags actually send anyone to lower league games, or do they take the score off ceefax and make the rest up?

Laughable.

They all take the same reports/ratings from a PA stringer who it seems usually watches the game with his back to the pitch.

Funny old game isn't it - well maybe that performance can spur your players on. It was almost a lesson in how to play the game!

O'Hanlon is a full on wanker, end of. He was shit. I made my feelings about him perfectly clear throughout the game, the pikey shellsuit wearing cunt.

On the bright side ive had the shits this morning thanks to the following:

A shit burger in the winners, that had more fat than Vanessa Feltz.
A shit hotdog before the game.
A shit bovril before the game

And finally the vegetable soup that was the foulest i have ever had.

At least the bud in the legends was ok... Smiley
