You think? So why can Reading, Bristol, Cardiff get the go-ahead for projects like this and Swindon can't? I just don't understand it.
Wasn't aware of the Swindon West station plan. Where (exactly) was that planned for?
Near Wooton bassett, Apparently there used to be a station out that way (REG??) it was mentioned a couple of years ago.

Used to go all the time with my sister when we were nippers. Loved the flumes and the wave machine. Used to be totally gutted when the time ran out! Pesky time!
Yeah I think I threw you out !

Because the councillors in those towns think big and have aspirations. Our council think Swindon is a village, are think as fuck and spend quite a bit of time suffocating growth and the future. I know there's lots of evidence contrary to this, but SBC are the biggest problem Swindon has in my eyes.

Not true I'm afraid ! Someone did fall through the dome once but landed in the deepest bit of the pool (lucky !) and could swim !(doubly lucky). He promptly let himself out and set the alarms off in the building and got caught by the Babylon soaking wet walking down Shepherd St(unlucky).

Did you used to work there? is it true you have to climb up the flumes every morning to check for razor blades in the slits? Ive always wondered if that was true

Think you've been had there. Supermarkets do have to check all their breakfast cereals for razor baldes though.

Yes I did and sorry to shatter any illusions of mortal danger regarding razor blades but that's not why the flumes are checked ! They are checked every morning but for general wear and tear i.e.missing silicon between joints or any cracks in the flume itself. They have to walked up which is pretty interesting bearing in mind how slippery they are.

Instead of walking up, why didn't the water get turned off and someone edge down in some rubber trousers or something,?
