Sad News, it’s a horrible disease & he obviously had quite an aggressive form.  😢

Very sad indeed. What a sight he was powering in to bowl from the boundary edge at Cheltenham College. A leap with arms and legs everywhere followed by a red blur and no sound as Jack Russell silently pocketed the ball in his gloves. A great time in Glos history until that fateful day in New Zealand when Syd’s knee made a sickening crack that will stay with those who heard it forever. RIP Syd - A career and life both ended too early.

Was at the Gloucestershire v Hampshire game Friday night where they did a ‘Pink4Syd’ night for him and MND.
Very sad to see this just a couple of days after.

RIP.

Lalo Schifrin, composer of numerous classic film and TV themes and incidental music.

My personal favourite, the theme from Bullitt...

Pity. He wasn't that old, either - 76.

I used to love Monkey. Though I never understood why Tripitaka was played by a woman.

Toshiyuki Nishida aka Pigsy in Monkey  Sad

I think Pigsy died last year (edit: just checked, yes).
Sandy (Shiro Kishibe) 5 years ago.
Tripitaka (Toshiyuki Nishida ) in 1985, aged just 27.

Monkey is still with us
