Gary Speed was the one ruled out and we are now on to plan b which is Richard Money!

I think this is where the extensive recruitment process may help us. If we can't get our original target at least we should get a decent backup option. If Fitton hadn't have found 4 managers he thought we're suitable we could have been at risk of doing a knee jerk reaction appointment and getting someone like Graeme Souness in.

Of course, if it's Souness then my rationale will be incredibly flawed.
