I personally dont want Byrne here anymore .. particularly after his comments about fans this week. If Fitton is that keen to have him here he might as well appoint him and manager as no one of any repute will work with him.
I told you to stop trolling yesterday. If you're going to state things like that as fact then you've got to back them up. You've got 10mins.

Sturrock wanted to.
He's a good coach, a passionate man and he cares about this football club. I hope he stays. He was spot on with what he said about our 'fans' as well.

I've no problem with Byrne staying as a coach with the youths....as long as the new manager has a choice to keep him or not if he wants his own team he should be able to have them unlike Malpas who was given the job on condition he worked with the current staff.

I dont mind Byrne staying on at all and I've been a supportwe of his.
However, I dont like the sound of 'the new manager probably wont bring in an sizeable entourage' I hope this means the new guy will bring it one or two and not the new guy will bring no one in with him
....because that was a total fuck up last time!

Depending on stuff, I'll be very suprised if Ady Williams will be here for much longer - therefore new guy will pretty much have to bring someone with them.

As people keep saying. I would be happy enough with Byrne and Bodin staying on as Reserve and Youth team boss.
Letting the new manager bring in an assistant and 2 or 3 coaches of his own.

Does a league one team need 7 members on the coaching staff?

I'm guessing that it won't be a big coaching staff....
1. New Manager 2. New guy as Ass Man or Coach 3. David Byrne 4. John Glanville 5. Paul Bodin

Unless he's one of the managers that has no involvment in training at all then i'd class him as part of the coaching staff. Perhaps non-playing staff would of been a better phrase.
