Fair play dave, that's a really good well-argued point by point demolition of the hairdresser. Paynter and Pook were both poor yesterday but to write them off on the back of one bad game against a background of week's of playing well is just daft.

Good points Dave, although I felt that Jack Smith had a decent game yesterday.  We lost possession too quickly yesterday, caused by a lot of hoof-ball from the back, unfortunately with Macca on the left we are only a three-man midfield at best, and when one of them has a serious off day (Pook) we are always going to be under pressure.  Having stated that, I feel this was the first bad game Pook has had since his return and our only real threat came down the left through Macca.

Some good points dave which make your comments on mcgovern being good a bit boggling. All opinions though

Thing is with mcgovern he can be good. We saw that when he first arrived and against peterbrough. He showed some good touches yesterday. I think he's very much a confidence player though, and stuck out on the wing when a teams predominatly hoofing it down the middle will do nothing for his confidence.

Just looked at the match facts, we had 46% possession against their 54% (I thought they actually had much more of the ball than we did) and both sides only registered two shots on target!  And we were the home side!!  FFS the new manager must instill a bit more an attacking theme for us to survive.  Bit of a balancing act to follow!

It was a fucking dire game. If it wasn't for the ref being so shite I would've had nothing to shout about.

Agreed, no passion no tactics fuckall. Midfield is so narrow its unbelievable. Easton must be shagging someones wife as he is head and shoulders above what we have got. Byrne was quoted as saying he could not ask for more and last week walsall he said its the best we played all year. Is he on crack

I have heard that Easton is on Aljofree's missus crack.

Aljofree is our best center back, up untill yesterday pook has been playing really well, paynter  does so much donkey work that goes unnoticed and an on song mcgovern has the talent to be one of the best right mids in the division. People who cannot wait to get on their backs do nothing to help the situation.

If you honestly think Aljofree is our best center back and doesn't play for himself (by that I mean that he does his job, keeps his head down, doesn't encourage or point fingers when things go wrong etc) you must be watching a different player. Not exactly a Sean Taylor or Colin calderwood, is he?

Why did you hate the 'fat sweaty cunt', who is one of, if not the best manager outside the top flight?

Because the cunt spoke out against the fans. He backed Diamandis and propped up the shit that Fitton eventually saved us from to suit his own ends. His ability to manage became tarnished when he got involved with slating fans.

I saw him talk to kennedy and ifil quite a bit yesterday, but dont let the facts get in the way of a good old stereotypical moan eh?

Like I said, you must be watching someone else. Aljofree looks after number 1. He's become quite good at making it look like he's a 'player' that cares, but he's just taking the wages now.

Worst. Paragraph. Ever. Not fast enough or mobile enough? The mans a brick shit-house, the closest we've got too one. Never seems likely to become a genuine strike partner? Have you seen the cox-paynter partnership at any time this season. Plays for himself? Ho Ho Ho. Look back over all of our goals this season, and Paynter will have played a significant part in at least half of them. He does so uch hard work that goes unnoticed, look out for him next time eh? Instead of immediatley insisting he's shite.

Work rate he has aplenty. No argument there. He'd maybe be better off in midfield thouigh because he isn't a fucking striker - his lack of goals tells that story.

Amankwaah granted. Though he's little worse than jack smith imho. JPM i disagree. He lacks consisteny, but definatly has the skill. Under malpas he was cack, but in the last few games he's shown why he's so highely rated.

Highly rated by who? He's a journeyman in the making. All promise, bluff and bluster with fuck all end result.

Paynter and cox is more than adequate, as you can tell by the goal tally between them. Get your head out your jacksy.

'Adequate' is the reason we're in the shit, mate. No wonder Coxy will be off as soon as possible. He's trying to do the lions share of the work because too many of his team mates are not fucking good enough. If you rate Paynter so fucking highly, are you happy to have him up front on his own when Cox has fucked off?

You might be prepared to put up with adequate mediocrity. Hopefully our chairman and new manager can see further than that and will have a mass cull of the losers and also-rans that currently inhabit the dressing room. We've put up with this shit for long enough for people like you to think it's nhe norm!

Oh, and while I'm at it, I think Byrne took Kennedy off yesterday to get him a standing ovation. A nice gesture for a lad making his debut, but ultimately one which also cost us 2 fucking points. The post-match bollocks about him having cramp is just bollocks made up to disguise a naiive management decision.

Shove that up your cunting jacksy, STFC Dave Yes
