Good luck to Malpas if he goes. Hasn't worked here but I've got nothing against the bloke at all. Hope he does well somewhere.

I'd like to echo Herthab and Gazza's sentiments, nice bloke and you wouldn't wish anyone unemployment at this stage, but something had to be done.

I've also heard dowie rumours, FWIW.

Good luck in the future momo...

Can't wait to see who it is!

Holloway can talk himself out of that one, ffs all he did was come and watch a game of footie.  It's not like he did a Rix and shagged a minor.

This is maybe a stupid thing to say, but it still hasn't been confirmed that MO Mo is leaving and we are discussing new managers.

Perhaps (although I suspect not) this is the dreaded vote of confidence from Fitton and MM will get the next 4 games to turn things around.

Swindon Town Football Club have this morning announced that Maurice Malpas will be leaving The County Ground with immediate effect by mutual agreement.

Assistant Manager David Byrne will be taking charge of team affairs until further notice.
