Improvement.

I'm not calling for his head, yet. So far we have gone backwards.

I was going to ban him but I can't now because it will look like I just did it because you asked, even if I'm not Whits (Barry Scott is king now anyway). Super lame. You've ruined it for everybody.

At this point last season we had 20 points only 4 more than this season.

I'm used to being wrong:)

However my opinion is aside from the last 3 league games (and probably southend) we have looked a shambles/been lucky.

I will genuinely be happy if we really have turned the corner mind, I don't care who it is who brings us success. But I'm not convinced yet.

I said elsewhere January will be the time I judge.

Wouldnt say you were wrong but the way people talk you'd think we were much worse off than we were last season. In truth we havent.

I agree for everyone good solid game we've had a passionless shit one as well.

We're a inconsistant mid table team just like we were last season. It'll be interesting to compare in a few games time.

Our next 3 last season was defeat to Leeds win against Rovers and defeat to Carlisle. 23 points after 17 games.

Win our next 3 in the league (I know...I know...) and we'd have 25 points and be ahead.

Sure, thus far its been worse than last season but not as bad as most people would believe. Even I was a little surprised when I had a look to be honest

4 points now carry on like we are would you say realistically dv over the course of the season we could be 12 points worse off than last year? Genuine question

We could do providing form stays consistant.

-12 on last season would have us finish on 49 points.

My main vain of hope is that we havent been bad then good then bad for two games then good for two games. It was all of when then a 180 switch. Bad, Bad, Bad, Bad, Bad, Good, Good, Good, Good.

I hope, or rather pray thats our bad form out the way completely. I expect us to lose some games but I really dont think we will lose 4 in the row at home 3-1 again this season.

Although of course last season we picked 20 points in the first 14 games leaving another 41 over 32 games which is 20 points in 16.

So it seems last season we were pretty consistant 20 points every 15 games. This season its what 14 games and 16 points so we could be 4 behind or 1 behind.

I think im waffling alot now.

I think my original point was we arent that much worse of than last season. Lets compare again in a few games. When we are doing much much worse then panic a bit

Aaaaaahhh, fuck it! We've been knocked out of a cup we were never going to win (okay it was against fucking poxy Histon) and a cup that...well let's face it, no-one's really that arsed about. We've picked up 7 points in our last 3 league games. If we win on Saturday then everything will be fine again.....lose however and I fear that Malpas will be chased into the fiery pits of hell by pitchfork weilding maniacs with vengeance on their tiny minds.

In conclusion

Aaaaaaahhh, fuck it! No-one gives a fuck about the JPT. Why are people suddenly treating it like it's make or break and our season's over. People have already made their minds up about Malpas. If we'd won tonight it wouldn't have made fuck all difference.

Because our season IS over.

Win and we are 2 teams away from Wembley. You may not care about it but I did. Winning against Leicester won't provide that kind of opportunity. Nor will it provide the chance to draw a big club in the 3rd round FA cup.

As for Malpas, I'll wait and see in January.
