I gave up on fm09 coz it was too darn slow, so went back to 08. Thats a gurt lush skin mr stanton, gonna have to get me some of that.

My problem with FM is that i mainly do shit. When i dont do shit i get bored after two or three seasons at one club so move to another, then tend to do shit. Its a horribley vicious cycle

Yeah, I never did very well to start off with, then started playing a 4-1-3-1 formation.
GK, DR, DC, DC, DL, DMC, MC, MC, AMR, AML, CF, which paid off massively.

Plus by constantly doing shit in previous campaigns, I analysed what free players were good for other teams and when I re-started I made a bee-line for them, kinda cheating but it does the job!

Otherwise if you still struggle download FM Genie Scout, and use that to find good cheap players, it doesnt work brilliantly but it opens up the whole database for you to view - cheating? Maybe, but it annoys me to fuck that the 'Player Search' option within the actual game only gives you a very blinkered selection of players that are on offer.

And before any of you ask, thats the only utility I use!!!!!

More importantly the squad. Few weak points there. I like the idea of a 3-4-3 Formation though. Will definitely stick with it for the opening match


Phew, a cracker. Dissapointed to go behind, but could have been much worse if their early off the post effort had gone in.
