Getting some good results now, I have signed
Robbie Fowler from Blackburn - 60k
Junior from Sao Paolo - 65k
Zakuani on loan from Fulham
Jutkiewicz on loan from Everton
Keiran McKenna on loan from Spurs
Stuart Fleetwood from Chartlon - 4k (bloody rubbish!)
Mustapha Hadji from Fola Esch - free
Joe Anyinsah from Preston - 20k
Dennis Lawrence from Swansea - free
Carl Ikeme from Wolves - 8k

transfers out -
Aljofree to MKD 150k
Sturrock to Wrexham - 1k
Vincent to Peterboro - 70k
JPM to Swansea - 70k
Marshall, Joyce, Hammonds, Kennedy, Morrison, Casal and Allen all out on season/5 month loans.

Currently 7th in the table after 10 games, scoring lots but letting in lots too!
Cox will only perform for me playing as an AMC.

I only started to pick up good results when I changed to a 3-4-1-2 in the end, now I am on a roll 5 games unbeaten inc 4 wins.

Mustapha Hadji plays for Fola Esch? They are playing my Lux team Avenir Beggen next Sunday at the mighty Henri Dunant!

I'll need to give him some abuse! Last week's game away to Grevenmacher was most enjoyable, Beer for 2 Euro and also enjoyed a cognac at the game! Beggen lost 6-1 but was quite amusing to see Beggen fans singing '10 German Bombers' at the Grevenmacher fans as they are on the German border and are in effect, Germans.

You clearly didn't make them do enough cross country running in pre-season.

Early versions of football manager are generally so bugged that it's probably best to wait until a few months before the next ones out before playing them properly.

i had a mixed pre-season then lost my first competitive match to Barrow. probably quite realistic but nevertheless i can't bring myself to load the game up again. I think I'll go back to 08 til the new one is officially released and patched up.

this is really annoying now!!
9 first team players injured!  Angry

but found some real bargins...
Seyfo Soley (DM/CB) (or something like that) (free transfer)
Esmir Sabic (CB) (free transfer but is a one for the future)
Uros Korun (DM/CM) (85k i payed and well worth it)
Mizuno (RM) (Celtic 20k and absolute bargin)
Rodrigo Possidon (CM) (Man Utd Res on loan)
John Ruddy (GK) (Everton on loan)
Robbie Fowler (CF) (Blackburn 40k)
Omladic (AM/CF) (random team but cost 28k world class)
Kieran McKenna (DR/DM/ CM) (spurs on loan)
Lucus Jutkiewicz (CF) (everton on loan but cant make my team)

i good tip is to use Timlin as a left winger as i found McNamee gets injured too much on my game.

I bought my copy today. Just played Franchise so far and won, so always good.

Got a few decent loans and freebies in and my only purchase has been Mizuno from Celtic so far, although I did exchange Peter Gilbert for Lee Peacock. Think I have £60k left for players but may need to offload a couple more to get wages down.

Also Freddy Sears is bloody quick. Useful impact sub if you can get him in on loan.

I started off the season really shit, losing to Crewe, Scunthorpe and Southend. I've just signed Jutkiewicz, Merida, Lansbury and Fabio (all premiership youngsters) on loan so my team's looking a bit healthier now.

Hi I had Lansbury in my first half of the season and he was cack. Found Jay Simpson, also from Arsenel, better.

My tactics totally lack consistency, winning 4-1 away at Leeds, 3-0 away at Scunthorpe then losing 3-1 at home against Stockport.

As with everyone it seems I too have got the injury curse hit me, almost every game I have 1 mid term length injury, 1-3 months out, I had 15 players in a squad of 30 out at one point.

Yet I replaced all my backroom staff with 10 coaches (using the assistant manager flaw) and all have 5 or 6 stars with a seperate coach for each area max stars for both fitness tasks and also a physio with a 20 rating yet I still get so many injuries.

I see the challenge keeper at corners bug is still there but doesnt detract from the game too much it just means I get a centre back scoring 3 goals a game!

I so badly need a decent tactic as the only ones I find work are the 4-2-4 or 4-3-2-1 and I hate those formations.
