The way he's worded it isnt great and if I were him id stop talking to paper full stop but what he says makes sense to me.

I dont think its stupid for him to say he wishes the team was winning more games.

Its a pointless argument ffs as what people are moaning at is the way it was worded, no one doubts we want to win more home games.

Yeah, I read that as losing away is preferable to losing at home. And you can't really argue with that, more home losses increases the pressure in so many ways.

Did anyone hear the BBC RS Malpas clip this morning, telling players to top talking (to the press) and start playing? I kind of only half heard it,  did he say something about not caring if the players didn't respect him or something.?

Yep, I heard the radio I assume it was in relation to what Coxy said, it was something along the lines of he not bothered about players to like him just win games, saying he will take stick from fan's as he can understand it......can't remember properly now that was 7.30 this morning !!

I imagine the pressure is getting to him and with players saying in the press they back him (why would they say any different if they want to play ?) he is probably frustrated with journo's keep bringing his position up rather than concentrate on the next game.

Until he can go on a winning run though and prove he has got what it takes to move stfc up the table then he will get stick.

I wish the press would also stop harping on about our away record being good as well, we've only won something like 2 games so it is not as if we are winning every game away and looking unbeatable away, christ we haven't even looked capable of keeping a clean sheet in any game yet.

Your supposed to go to back the team you don't have to back the manager - but give the team your support, I could never say that however bad it got I'd still want to see the game.

"We are going to move forward. We are going to kill the players, coaching staff and anyone else."

Is that more the kind of statement that you are looking for? It's what the president of an Argentine club said recently about his struggling team, Rosario Central.
