He was involved with Calne Town...not sure if he still is, but Calne was the epicentre of Brian's financial empire...where his missus had an hairdressing salon...Bri may have even had a bit of a building firm for a while. Think his kid is manager of Calne Town....Bri applied to get a on the FA executive but surprisingly got about as many votes as Headington United applying for the league in 1960. |

Brian Hillier's a fucking legend!! He still loves Swindon although wouldn't come to watch. Simon his son, who endured a lot of abuse during that time, is currently Calne no.2. Brian runs a small business in Calne who my mates' dad currently works for, he had to get Brian a programme from the Trannie match the other week.
All in all I have a lot of time for the Hilliers.

I cant believe you Jan, was it not you who went public even in the papers with your orange campaign to get rid of (alledged crooks) from our club yet some bloke who done time and played a massive part in our demotion and some could argue had a big hand in what has happened up until now is a decent bloke. We might not of gone up through the leagues but we might not of had to deal with what we have for 18 years. If irt was a wind up fair play you got me,if not you are a bit nuts imo. |
