Didn't sound like we were too bad tonight. Roll on Cheltenham.

I had a brilliant Jon Bon Jovi gag lined up but it's been ruined by timing issues. Seeing as Lumps has asked my avatar is a young Sam Raimi.
Thank fuck for that. I had this horrible feeling after I'd posted that it might be a photo of you and I'd just described you as looking like a psycho. Looking at it now you've said that I can see it does look like the goggle eyed loon that is Sam Raimi, I'd just never have recognised him.

Just got back, was an exelent game with both teams passing well,QPR are a class outfit, both Town goals were top notch,Paynter was the bollox but my man of the match was Jack Smith, didnt put a foot wrong....Mcmanee was very good and i really think we are on the march in this league,i for one am a very happy bunny and my prediction of town winning the league isnt looking so daft after all....all credit to Malpass because this team is looking really confident...yes we let in three but this QPRteam are slick and will finish top three easy...only down side was the result because i cant remember the last time ive felt so happy after our first two matches.

i was impressed with both teams. Smith and Mcnamee looked good. QPR will scare a lot of teams in the championship this season with the pace of their front 3. Parrejo and Ledesma played well but did the piss me off with the time wasting and the diving. U don't need to that.

I assume QPR had a strong but not quite full strength team out?
They were slightly the better side, but we gave it a good go and particularly in the first half looked damn good going forward. Paynter had another good game, great header. And Cox was as always a threat. McNamee was dangerous in the first half, they cut a lot of that out in the second by making sure they had 2 on him in the danger areas.
Where I think QPR were superior was in the central midfield. Our pairing worked bloody hard and were not really out of it, but QPR definitely had the edge.
Kasal was a little off the pace positionally again, but he has the ingredients to be a good asset once he settles into the pace of the English game and his weaknesses are worked on.
Jack Smith was also my man of the match. He had an excellent game. Hasney was also superb tonight!
Morrison had a reasonable game too, I was a bit worried after his shakey pre-season but that was encouraging.
Their #20 was a good player but an absolute little prick too.
Lastly Oxo is not as good as Bovril. Fact.

Woohooooo! Im glad other people noticed Jack Smith, My MOM too! I thought he was absolutely excellent tonight. Calm, composed, linked up very well with JP and made some excellent challenges and passes. Totally deserves the shirt and my god he has worked hard for it as is far better than he was previously. Also thought Nalis was very good.
Casal was off the boil but he deserves more time to settle in so Ill leave it at that.
QPR were a very good side, well organised and very sharp. Id be amazed if they aren't up there come end of the season.
Very entertaining game and least we can concentrate on the league now.

Agree with whats been posted - QPR looked a really good team and was a quality game of football with both teams playing good, slick passing football. I'm absolutely positive that if we play like that at Cheltenham then we'll roll them over. My only worry is that we might come unstuck playing that way when the weather and pitches start deteriorating - hopefully we'll have won the league by then though!!
