Sits in the corner of the living room quite contented. Every now and again I'll lay a few old cones out around the place to keep him happy.

I used to have a cardboard cut out of Steve McMahon, as my opinion of McMahon dropped , he was consigned to behind the wardrobe at the top of the stairs....after watching final score one Sat and confirming we'd lost heavily to some norvern monkeys, I heard a crash in the hall. On inspection Steve had somehow fell from his spot and bounced down the stairs....well spooky...he had to go.

I wouldn't say they fucked it up. It was more a case of the league table being ridiculously flattering. We never looked remotely like a top of the table side IMO. Yes of course we won a few games but we never looked terribly convincing. That's how I remember it anyway.
I was quite young at the time and probably got caught up in the excitement a bit, so you're probably right. We had a few good results though, and Chris Hay was banging the goals in before we got rid of Wayne Allison and there were injuries and stuff.

Mine would have to be my programme our FA cup match at home against swindon on 08-12-2002, which we won 1-0 live on national television to set up a 3rd round tie at Highbury.
I think I may have chucked my one from 10-03-2001 in the bin, when we lost 2-0 at the Manor. Pelted Mildenhall with coins. And the one where that cunt Gary Alexander scored and blew a kiss to the London Road.
