Adele - 19
British Sea Power - Do you like rock music?
Burial - Untrue
Elbow - The Seldom Seen Kid
Estelle - Shine
Laura Marling - Alas I Cannot Swim
Neon Neon - Stainless Style
Portico Quartet - Knee-deep in the North Sea
Rachel Unthank and the Winterset - The Bairns
Radiohead - In Rainbows
Robert Plant & Alison Krauss - Raising Sand
The Last Shadow Puppets - The Age of The Understatement

I like Neon Neon a lot (a fan of both SFA and Boom Bip). I heard that they turned up to a gig recently in a De Lorean car - the album is of course about John De Lorean - which I suppose beats an old Transit van.

i've only got four of those albums. of those four:

radiohead is depressing shite
neon neon is good at a first listen, but got a little irritating quickly.
I never really got the hype around the last shadow puppets
Laura marling would get my vote. good folk-ey album

The Burial album is awesome. Fairly unique but a great sound

I was about to say that I haven't listened to any of them. But I've randomly got the burial album kicking about somewhere. I can't remember if it's good though.

British Sea Power should win. That's a top album.

It's pretty amazing that Burial got nominated. I really hope he wins.

Ace. Blatently when I got it then. I'm pretty sure I got around to listening to it. But maybe not. I would do now, but I'm about to put on a film

Burial is pretty good alright. I think Portishead have a really good album out too.

I'd have to go with British Sea Power out of that selection.

The Last Shadow Puppets album was a bit of a let down and Neon Neon has a couple of good tracks on it but thats about it.

I've been listening to the elbow album in question. I want to like it, but to be honest I've gotten a bit bored, guess I'm not in the right mood for it. "On a day like this" has just livened things up a bit though.
