from work? I have some mates who take 36/37 days, its madness!

I try to have a weekend away which means 1/2 days, a 7/10 day holiday and the odd afternoon for footy so thats about 15 max.

Just interested as listened to Wil Smith on Jonathon Ross and he was saying he takes 10 a year.

i get 25 days holiday and use all of them up. Most are spent going on Scotland trips, but my mum lives in portugal so some get used up going over there too.

I use my allowance of 24 days - 3 I have to use around xmas when the office closes, and of the remaining 21 days, I'd say usually 15 days are taken for study and revision time.

25. Three have to be taken over Christmas/New Year, the rest a mix of going away and long weekends.

30 per year, plus a carry over of up to 9 from previous years, plus Bank Holidays.

Normally one two week holiday a year, the rest depends on how itchy my missus feet get......this year we're planning on more long weekends, some around the footy, some to Europe (which for us both remains largely undiscovered).

I never go on a "holiday" anymore. I get 25 days from work but it can roll over to 30 if saved so this year i had 27.5 which isn't too bad. Still got 18 days to take of that as well.

27 + Bank Hols - 1 week this year for New York, the rest will be the odd day here and there to make long weekends or break a week up.  So far I have used 1 since 1st April.

When I left school the world was still black and white, so my holiday stuff has varied with things.  Sometimes, I have had large chunks of time for a bit a travelling,  others like when the kids were around,  short breaks and lots of them, plus a main holiday.

Now I just play it by ear...
