A relative of mine has emphysema but he's in his 60's.
It's a really nasty disease. He can't walk up town anymore.

Shit that's really fucking nasty stuff although in it's early stages if she can bin the tabs and crack she should get a decent quality of life for a few years yet.
A friend's father in law had that and spent his last 10 years on an oxygen tank sat in the living room. Horrible slow way to go.

Will Self quite correctly referred to the London evening free sheets as 'the crap sheets'. If you want to know which pavement Pete Doherty threw up on last night (with picture of vomit, in close up) - or which club Lily Allen got papped outside at 3am (having herself tipped all paps off in advance, of course)... then the londonpaper (note lack of capital letters) will be right up your street. And the other one - I can't even remember what it's called - is probably even worse. Journalistic arsewash for the Hello! generation. |
