So, are we getting better, or are NZ on the decline / fed up after a success-free visit to these shores?

They're 3rd in the world, and that was really quite comprehensive.

Also, those reverse slog sweeps for 6 are fantastic, but I still prefer the inside edge for 4.

These new, tighter tops don't do Luke Wright any favours do they?

As not much of a cricket fan can someone confirm whether this reverse sweep of KP's has never been done before?  I'm sure in my limited viewing of a few one dayers/Twenty20 matches I've seen other batsmen have a go at this shot.

Ready to eat humble pie if wrong but I'd have put money on that I have seen it before.

Technically it wasn't a reverse sweep because he swapped his stance from right-handed to left-handed.

I'm sure Colly has hit a few similar reverse slog sweeps in recent years.

These international rankings have to be taken with a bit of a pinch of salt don't they.

With the calendar of international matches being so varied you really have to sustain a position for maybe 18 months or so before it can be taken too seriously.

It will be once everyone gives up on the Test game to concentrate on limited overs matches.

Cannot believe they are discussing banning the shots Pietersen played yesterday.
