Quality! This could be pulled off in the TE.....if the chant ends up being true of course.

Rumoured Nicky Bailey -> Boro for £1.5M.

OK not Swindon related, other than perhaps a sign of Charlton reducing their wage bill.

Charlton need the money. There was talk a few months ago that they might need to go into admin.

Anyway, it weakens one of our rivals for next season.

On another forum the Charlton fans don't seem to think that they will miss either Shelvey or Bailey next season!

Didn't they both score against us last season? Anyway a promotion rival losing 3m worth of talent is good for us.

Bailey was one of their best players. Whatever you've read is nonsense!

Just my opinion!

I think the Earnshaw swap with Whittingham has some truth..
Earnie is a class player a natural goal scorer, but doesn't fit in Billys Forest side. Away from home we usually play with 1 striker which is usually Dex as he has the pace and stength to hold the ball up and pack the midfield. We only chuck Earnie on with 15 minutes left to try and snatch a goal if we havent won the game already. Eanshaw is to good to only play home games, he is a Cardiff lad, ex Cardiff player. fan?
Whittingham would be a good addition to a young Forest side who could do with some more experienced players. We wasnt the same side after losing Mckenna towards the end of last season and would of surely been promoted had he stayed fit.

Shorey has to be number 1 priority!! I hope the rumours are true about the deal being done.

Pratley would also add some steel to the midfield especially for the away games.

Austin also seems likely as Earnies replacement with us agreeing to a pre season friendly as part of the deal.

All in all if these deals happen a championship winning side.

Im not saying its complete bullshit but can you imagine a friendly with notts forest being part of a deal to take our most valuable asset away from us?  If that is the case its really bad management which I don't expect to occur in the new era of STFC.

For fuck sake its only notts forest.  Real madrid maybe but a crowd of 3 thousand at the county ground to sweeten the deal?  I think not.
