Also this about Billy
21 Jan 2010 19:15:54 All the rumours regarding Jason Scotland's proposed move to Barnsley can now be put to bed as I've just been informed he has failed to agree personal terms with the South Yorkshire outfit. It is now thought Mark Robins will go and raid Swindon Town for their 25 Year old Hit–Man Billy Paynter and Robins is also eyeing up a deal with old club Rotherham United for Midfielder Nicky Law.
In the summer Barnsley will make a bid for Adam Le Fondre, thought to be in the region of £300,000

I don't get it. Danny Ward would be our fourth striker wouldn't he? (assuming Hutchinson pisses off) And what about us not signing any 'projects' at this point? i.e players who could hit the ground running and hence why we would not be signing Harry Arter until the summer. I'm confused

I'm confused Ward is playing as a LM these days and he's not bad there tbh. I think Wilson will probably use him there unless he gets a new winger in. Can see why we want this lad. He's got pace and can score (well at his current level) can also play out wide. It would give us 4 strikers with Ward and this bloke being able to play out wide when we have limited options. Makes sense to me.

Personally i think anyone who alludes to, let alone quotes that rumours site ought to be hung, drawn, and quartered, then banned. It's really doing my tits in.

After 161 pages I can't stand it anymore. Can someone please take the apostrophe out of the title of this thread? The word "rumours" is clearly a plural.

22 Jan 2010 10:50:28 Alan Irvine is gonna bring Jordi Cruff to Hillsborough on a free. He has been seen at the training ground
One of my personal favourites.

I just had a look to see how old he was and whether he was still playing.
I cant believe he was at Manchester United for 4 years. I only remember him playing in 96 thought they got rid of him after one season!!

Same, I just remember his hair in all honesty. Really did nothing of note.
Someone on a different site reckons we're looking at David Prutton, another on thisis saying Nicky Law of Rotherham.
Both would be welcome, both could conceievably be bullshit.

If Prutton has the same impact that Douglas, Lucas and Sheehan have all had on the team then id welcome him in open arms Jesus
