Beckford has withdrawn his transfer request, presumably wanting a big fat signing on fee when he goes on a free at the end of the season.
Can't see Bates/Leeds being happy with his dicking them around.
He is a total and utter tit, but I do think his running/movement will cause us problems next week, ans so was hoping he'd be sold.

I was hoping he wasn't and am glad he's staying. Last season at home to them (althought we were awful as a team) Cox displayed everything that Beckford didn't have in the form of attitude. Beckford is a little cunt who moans at the ref etc. I'd like the Town End to get on his back and for someone like Austin to show him the attitude that a striker should play with.

THIS IS A RUMOUR BUT MY VINCENT PERICARD TURNED OUT A TRUE ONE SO HERE GOES.
Owen Garvan from Ipswich. 21 year old midfielder, Irish U-21 Will Buckley from Rochdale. 20 year old midfielder, 3 goals this season
It's a bit of a coincidence as well when I posted John Spicer from Donny might arrive and the next day Mr. Marshall from the Adver puts it in an article.
Get your own news Marshall. I should be getting paid your wages mate!!!

Billy Paynter will this week reject Swindon Town's contract offer, and will join Bristol Rovers in exchange for Joe Kuffour. Swindon have also made an offer for Rochdale's Tom Kennedy.
At least the context of the rumour makes more sense now (swap), even if it is complete bollocks still!

That's shocking a newspaper has lifted that off a rumours site and given a form of creedence to it, jeez, madness.
