Phillips is a good scorer but I would hazard a guess hes way way out of our wage structure.

If he was available you'd at least expect Brizzle to put in a high bid now he's nearing the end of his career.

Fitton said in an interview before the game that the deal was done and agreed by all parties (us, Celtic, Ferry), but the paperwork wouldn't go through until January. Which is a bit of concern, another club could come in for him.

Can't complete the paperwork until Jan because his loan already runs until then.

I heard somewhere that Dongs have taken Nigel Quashie on loan from West Ham with the Hammers still paying 100% of his wages.

He's not the best player ever to grace the Premiership but I would have thought he would stick out like a sort thumb at this level.

He didnt do much when he came on for them yesterday!

Actually he aint a bad signing at this level, if MKD did get a deal with Hammers paying his wages then that is great and maybe more clubs might be willing to do that, so I guess who knows when it comes to players like Phillips, might be possible.

Seen two figures up here, one that it is 100%, and one that the dongers are paying 10%, either/or good deal for them, and shows why those fuckwits at west ham are in the mire.

That's not a question, that's a statement of fact.  It also looks unlikely now.

Heard from my Posh supporting mate that Notts County have signed their Centre Back Morgan for 800k! ludicrous amount for that level.

Posh supposedly after Grant Holt which would help us if he goes from Narwich.

Wuld have thought so as well. Thought it was bollocks but this a rumours section not fact and was told by someone in Birmingham so... Would be the kind of target that "loads of clubs would go for if they knew he was available" though.

Interesting to hear all the same and I love your bollocks Gazzza!

Don;t think Holt would go, Norwich are arguably a bigger club. Much like if players from Leeds were offered the chance to join Posh for example. I am sure they would rather play infront of 20,000 a week in L1 instead of 8,000 in the CCC that said, yes it shows a lack of ambition but Posh will be down next season so... Plus Norwich I dare say would offer better wages than Posh. They took the cheap option with their manager and most of the players coming up from non league. Posh may have shit loads of money but have spent most of it signing the best players from the BSP.
