Not a touch on Ibon Arrieta, Spanish non-league has the best calibre.

Glad were looking to give non-league players a chance, If we didn't we'd have never witnessed class strikers like Charlie Griffin. Cheesy
Griffin I thought was alright, he's a bit in the Paynter style mould and not an out and out striker. Could've been given more of an chance, my view.

I'd say the fact he's never played for another league club shows just how good he is. He was better than Chippenham, but was never going to cut it in (then) Division 1!

54 goals in 54 games altogether I think league and cup.

The reason the Muff are concerned is that hes been training with them for 7 weeks and waiting for their transfer ban to be lifted so he can sign with them.

Sounds promising actually and just turned 20.

Found this on a Poole forum (quiet today!)

what Clive has posted is exactly right-I have spoken with Charlie this week and he is loving it-Swindon have conducted themselves impeccably with utmost respect for all aspects of the situation - we have given consent for him to play at Swansea on wednesday but have asked he be returned fresh and raring to go for saturday's game

I know it's lower/non-league, but 46 goals is just silly.

jj says it's 54 in 54, which is far better to get out hopes up with. Smiley

That's even more sillierer.

I got it a bit wrong hes actually scored 57 in 53 games in all competitions now up to this week!

He has scored in 7 consecutive games now this season, only failing to score in the first game of the season.

Also score 7 goals in 7 games pre season...including 2 hattricks.

He's starting for the ressies against Swansea today.

Nearly half time in that game, anyone got any details from the game?
