I've not actually checked, but I believe Palmer's goal return is worse than Harry Smith's.

Let's hope this doesn't go the same way as Charles Vernam.

Palmer has had quite a nomadic nationwide career so one would hope he has a better idea than Vernam of how geography works....

From my back of fag packet calcs based on wiki he as 75 goals in the FL from 356 games.

Edit broken down as L2 62 goals in 288 games, and L1 13 goals in 68 games.

Goals per game record in the league is worse than Smith's. It's about 95 in 450 vs Smiths 70 in 280.

To be fair, he has a lot more to his game than goals.

I didn't watch a huge amount of Wrexham when they were in L2 but from what i do remember, Palmer was decent with the ball at his feet. We couldnt handle his size and presence at all.

He's trying to sort out his contract at Wycombe so he can leave
Quote from Moonraker’s earlier article:

Tafazolli will join on a free transfer after Wycombe came to an arrangement to pay up a proportion of his contract. He is expected to sign an initial one-year deal.

Botan Ameen just announced - suspect we were waiting for that to be confirmed before confirming incomings.

3 year deal with an option for 2 further years, good luck to him - just hope his advisors have made the right decisions for him.

Another great Swindon hope we'll never really get to see.  Good luck to him.
