Has Jake Cain rocked up anywhere yet?

Last time I checked Monsieur Cain was rocking up on trial for Hartlepool in early July

There’s still some players left in the PFA Pre-season camp, see if anyone fits the bill for being a new CB
I watched the game vs Watford U23s last week for the PFA team of unattached players,  not 1 player looked good enough on show, and certainly none of the defenders playing.

Good luck to him. A nearly but not quite player

It’s quite shocking, how we seem to be flip-flopping over which position is priority. First it was left forward, then striker and now it’s CB. Only if we had a decent preseason opposition to understand the levels of where we are at.

Definitely believe Pre-season cost us in that department of seeing where our positional weaknesses were , played Reading over 120 with two squads so didn’t get proper match conditions and then Eastleigh over normal 90. Believe Walsall played FGR, Derby and Villa so had two proper higher league tests

I think a decent training camp in Spain would have been more beneficial.

Pure laziness in organisation. Pure and simple.

See something about a Centre half on twitter. Hope they get someone in with some more games under their belt.

Common theme under Morfuni isn’t it?! Our preseasons have been primarily non-league and behind closed door games for his entire tenure. Last season the only representative friendly was Wycombe, this season we didn’t even really have one.

No coincidence we’ve always had a large injury list and other than the Flynn season looked undercooked in the first month of the season.

A training camp that was funded by Clem? that will never ever happen, our budget stretched to a training camp at the Cotswold Water Park it seems and games vs very local opposition to save costs.

Even Power took them to Tenerife for warm weather training mid season when Cooper was manager!

Clem idea of abroad is Eastleigh
