Another colossal waste of time. He'll never play for us again.
Why do the club persist on these signings?
Massey, Dabre, Roberts, Johnson etc.
If we can't provide a path way for first team football (no u23 team etc) can we just invest these pennies into giving proper footballers a better wage?
Please.

No, because the extra cash is being invested in the fanzone and museum

That's not the model though is it.
The model is punts -
punts that have showed promise but been inconsistent enough to be deemed surplus to requirements elsewhere (Kinsella, Butterworth, King) or
punts that have had injuries or health issues or both that mean they are surplus to requirements elsewhere (Hall, Clarke, Glatzel, Ofoborh, perhaps Cox if he signs).
There are those that don't fall into this bracket, such as Will Wright, Longelo, Smith and Sobowale. They're ok.
But we're all about gambling. Hoping that we can make one or two of them work out, to sell them, safe in the knowledge that there is virtually no chance that they can all work, or enough of them work out to make us one of the better sides in the division. We'll hope. I'll hope - but let's not kid ourselves that it is anything more than baseless hope.
It's incoherent nonsense. We'll be sat here in 18 months with a squad that is 75%+ different to now, after another 30 signings and 30 departures.
But Morfuni will sit there tomorrow basking in his own ignorance thinking that we've had a great summer of business and some muppet will ask for him a photo and buy him a pint.
This crap approach will not stop until he goes and we are properly funded by someone who wants a successful club and knows how to achieve that.

Call me an optimist, but by luck or judgement, we've assembled a perfectly reasonable League 2 squad full of players who have impressed elsewhere.
It's now over to the manager to do something with it, and those behind the scenes to give them the best possible chance to succeed (and not flog them all in January).

I'm not saying it's a sensational squad or anything, but I think on paper this is the best squad we've had under Clem. First season team was a better 11 but had no depth at all. Worse squads have definitely gone up.
My early concerns are about the tactics they're using mostly. And the fear that we'll sell anyone we're offered £20k for in January.

Kilkenny was utilised mostly as a deep laying midfielder at Fleetwood Town and won a lot of praises in his 16 appearances for them so I’d say he’s more of the play in front of the back four midfielder.

Probably, if I'm honest most of the midfield allocation was just trying to fit the names on the line I could see an Ofoborh - Kilkenny double pivot as a kind of L2 Pirlo - Gattuso.

Looks pretty good on paper and can’t complain that its not a squad overhaul since last season’s debacle.

That squad is so meh. Outside of possibly McGurk I don’t there is a single exciting player in there. No maverick, no talisman, no one remotely capable of making something happen, a bit of magic. Absolutely no flair (wooo)
…and thus far Kennedy’s tactics have made the play even more lifeless & boring.
Reasonable squad but the only way that team is ever achieving anything is if they are fitter, faster & stronger than everyone else & drilled the way a Macari or Di Canio would do.
…but…hey I’m all for shite football if it gets results but even majoritly shite football needs the odd spark to get results.

Given I know nothing about any of them I'm not jumping up and down with excitement.
But equally will see how they are doing come mid October as it's going to take time to work out how to get the best from them all
