Jack Payne has no recall clause in his Franchise loan, so will be there regardless if Kemp returns or not.

The squad needs a change of direction. If flogging our supposed assets makes that possible I’m all for it.

There is not 1 player currently who I would be pissed off if we sold them in the transfer window. I discount Kemp and Young as they will blatantly go back to their parent clubs.

I have never felt that way before, we have always had a player or 3 that I would prefer not to sell, thats no longer the case for me.

Agree with this and think at least in part this is due to the fact that players generally don't stay longer than 18 months anyway. Longevity at our club is rare these days.

If he is recalled it will be to sell on.

Love Kemp, hes easily our best player followed by Young but both are so massively inconsistant that it would put off any Championship team from buying them, but probably not L1 teams who can deal with dips in form easier. On their day both are really good players but on an off day, which is about half the time, both are passengers.

Maybe Kemp would rather stay and try to improve and get the better move in the Summer as his consistancy of form improves.

It seems to be the way of footballers now, hit some form and cash in while you can.

It is but the fixture was already pencilled in for that date and both teams are out of the FA cup.

Yeah, but both of us are out so the games go ahead as planned.
It’s only the top two divisions that don’t have scheduled matches

I understand the feeling about selling players and I agree with the sentiment, but I’d be terrified with the thought of what might replace them

but what's in it for MK unless we agree a short term deal and massive sell on %?

Hes under contract for another season at MK so a player that has scored 25 goals from midfield is worth more than a midfielder with 13 goals.
