I’ve noticed that the usual wrist-slitters on social media are noticeably absent about us not yet signing anyone.
Amazing what an unbeaten start to the season can do!

Absolutely, our good start has masked our lack of squad depth somewhat, if our players can all stay fit then great, but going on recent evidence that won't happen. |

Stylistically, FBT and Dokes are very hard to replace in this system - not sure any of our other CBs (maybe Clayton) could do the marauding, overlapping CB thing on either side.

I guess the idea was that Ward could on the left. That feels unlikely on the evidence so far! Clayton doesn't look enough of a technician/athlete to me. I think he might be best in the CB role. Which, as you say, leaves FBT and Dokes borderline irreplaceable, which isn't great. |

Wouldn't that rather defeat the object by removing part of the peril of being a prick on the pitch. Just make sure its applied consistently and if affects all clubs the same. |

I read the thread yesterday and some of them really are dumb as fuck. Loads of them saying recall him in January just to derail us, sounds like the Doyle loan all over again. |
