As long as its Crozier-Duberry or the Mexican left winger Marcelo Flores thats fine, the rest were no better than what we have IMO. |

Back in the 80s Hereford had a small black winger called Winston White that always tore us a new one, if I was Macari I would have signed him as my first signing! We were quoted £15,000 transfer fee when we did enquire and we pulled out of the deal! he went on to play 600 league games for 14 teams. https://www.lcfc.com/news/1453177/former-player-remembers-winston-white/featured?lang=enIt used to be fairly common to sign players that perfromed well against your team as scouts were far less prevalent in lower leagues back then. There was no excuse for Paolo though |

There was no excuse for Paolo though In the mid-late 80's I can remember Bobby Barnes playing well against us for Aldershot and we signed him the following season.. |
