Reading those rules, really does empathise what an absolute farce this competition is.

Cheers Quagmire, I still am still none the wiser as to what team we are able to play! not withouthout delving into appearance stats etc.

It is a bit of a joke having so many rules though, its 1 rule for the rich and 1 rule for the poor.

The Premier sides are allowed (expected) to play all U23s yet we would be punished if we did exactly the same thing!

No idea to what the answer is here. Needs game time but just can’t take the risk with us after the spells he has been on the field. Decent ball to Hutton yesterday and that was about it.
Every one of us desperately wanting him to work the keeper and defence but just didn’t.
Adeloye is a strange one.  I really don’t know whether he’s crap or whether Lindsay utilises him this way when he comes on as a sub.   His movement on Saturday didn’t put him in a good light with us fans though.
I really don’t think he can be that bad but he doesn’t seem to fit in our style of play if we don’t utilise him as a centre forward.

This is where Lindsay needs to step up as a manager.  A good manager can usually get the best out of their players and if he can’t you have to question his coaching skills.

Too early to write Tomi off but both player and manager need to step up and put work in to improve

The 'competition' has been rendered as a farce as the Prem teams are paying us to play them on their terms.

Won't be watching, listening or have any interest in the score whatsoever.

Can’t we start with players that we have to and then sub them off after 10 minutes or so?

We've done that in the 1st minute before, a few teams have I think.

Didn't we do this 1-2 years ago? seemed to vaguely remember us faking a couple of injuries.

‘Full Available Strength’ means the EFL Club must include at least four Qualifying Players in the ten outfield Players named in the starting eleven on the Team Sheet.

7.4  Qualifying Player means any Player who:

7.4.1  had started the immediately preceding First Team Fixture (as defined below);

7.4.4  has made forty or more starting appearances in First Team Fixtures or international equivalents (and not limited to the same Club or Season); or

This means Baudry, Harries, Hutton (40+ games played) and Shade (started last game) can play as the four qualifying players.

Joe Tomlinson looking for a loan move to get regular starts.

Surely a no brainer.
