Slightly off topic but where has ‘pricko’ suddenly come from? Not once had I seen or heard this before this week! Me. Been about for years though.

Interesting. Fair enough if he wants first team football, but can't imagine L1 clubs would be offering him that? Lower L2/top end National League I can definitely see. I like the guy, but if people are offering money for him I think we'd be doing well.

I'm a bit out of touch with all things Stfc but would that just leave us with a loan keeper?

Yeah, we'd need to bring someone in for sure, unless we'd register Mildenhall again. The youths obviously have a bunch of keepers - two in each year I think - but no other pros (Idem was released end of last season).

Cant blame Ward if he wants to go play first team football. Although replacing what is a more than capable #2 (good #1 as well tbf) with the current free agents out there - doesn’t tend to go well does it, for us anyway.

Ward is a decent keeper, Brynn is a far better keeper though and I can't see any L1 club wanting him as their first choice, would command a fee though as hes under contract, if he wants first team football then let him fly.

See he also says if McKirdy goes the likely options we’d go for are Charley Kendall on loan from Lincoln or Alfie Rutherford at Dorking. That is thoroughly depressing.

Alfie Rutherford looks a good prospect, kendall I saw play once and wasn't impressed too much. Rutherford scored 32 in 37 in the National South 2 years ago then 16 in 38 in the National League last season, still only 24. Scorted 1 in 4 this season and that was against Oldham.
7:38 in a good header, hes a fairly big unit at 6 foot 1 and good in the air. I would prefer a more experienced striker though.

Would have thought Rutherford is the kind of signing fans would like. Punt from non league - 32 goals from 37 games last season. Would fit the plan more than a loan.

If I was Ward (and had no Town allegiance) I would be looking for a move. That final paragraph does sound like it has been written with the input of his agent!
