I’d be happy to swap him for DJ and a bit of cash, tbh.

I thought DJ was undisclosed? Where did you get that figure from?
It was undisclosed but I was told that figure by somebody very reliable at the club.

Kept a lot quiet didn’t he? But, like all ‘secrets’ they eventually surface.

Mckirdy had been VERY quiet on Instagram. For someone so prolific he's not posted anything since 2nd June.
He’s probably in LA county jail

Frankly I’m amazed we got that much for him and given how he has got on at Charlton since it seems like a bloody good bit of business. Shame it’s probably all gone on Lee Power’s personal entertainment bill.

A loan signing. Could be the next Kovar. I expect this means JJW is off as expected. At least sounds like there was a fair amount of interest in this ‘keeper so he may be okay.

Could be the next JoJo or Benda.
Suppose they wouldn’t loan us a keeper to sit on the bench so poor old Ward looks destined to return to No. 2. Probably deserves a prolonged shot as our No. 1.

A proper rumour that one. Only just about 6ft so relatively short for a keeper, but so was Wes. https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/sol-brynn/profil/spieler/465952Spell at Queen of the South last season in the Scottish Championship, played 21 games and conceded 28.

Quick search of his name on twitter. QoS loved him, few Boro fans were calling for him to be their number 1 after he was recalled.
I believe this rumour as otherwise it's a bit of a weird thing to make up. Also suggests a manager must be close.

suprised we are going down the loan keeper route if that's true
As someone said, they rarely come to sit on the bench

Assumed under the model we’d be looking to get him in - see if he matches up to his data. Buy him, develop and sell. Under contract to 2023 with another year option. Depends how he’s rate at ‘boro. If he’s one they think can be their future #1 then it’s a pointless exercise for us.

Shame it’s probably all gone on Lee Power’s personal entertainment bill. Not 100% certain if the fee was all up front but the fee was said to be around the £1m figure, thats from a connection I have at Charlton who works at the club. Power never told us that we he got £85k for Freeman in the same transfer deadline day rush either.
