Who is Lang again?

Striker from Wigan. Spells at Oldham and Morecambe on loan. Liked by both sets of fans.

Was hoping to wake up to a "BBC Wilts Sport understands" this morning! Hopefully we get a couple over the line today or tomorrow.

With the squad taking shape, if we take for granted(!) those to come, I’m trying to fathom out how Wellens will set up.

For the outfield players those looking certain starters are - Baudrey, Conroy, Fryers, Hunt, Lyden, Doughty, Bennett, Isgrove, Woolery, Yates, New Striker.

Whatever midfield you make out of that is going need some responsible back trackers. Take Lyden out of the equation and every other fucker is an attacking player.

We’re either going to really tear up the opposition, or get caught out at the back - probably both in the same game.

Should be a fun season!

Could be like the Hoddle era. Just make sure you smash more in than you let in.

Expect May or this new number 8 Wellens was talking about to add some balance.

We're almost better set for a 3-5-2 with wing backs.

Shit! I forgot him. That makes it 12 outfield players who look like certain starters for 10 starting slots.

I think Isgrove and Bennett today, Lang in a week or so.
I'll take that. Isgrove may or may not turn out to be a great addition to the squad (from what we've seen so far he looks handy but .... Dossevi...) but I don't think I could stand the meltdown if we don't sign him after all this.

That's great, when are you likely to be fit enough to throw him in?

Spoke to a Rovers supporting mate yesterday he recons Bennett is desperate to leave Rovers still and join the Town and that a deal could happen very soon.

Possibly a loan deal initially until Christmas he has heard, Coughlan wants him off the wage bill but we can't pay all of his wages.

I doubt we can afford Isgrove and Bennett though at the moment.

Isgrove has had a career at a higher level. his good performances pre-season are showing that. Dossevi is incomparable on that front.

If we get Isgrove we dont need a bennett. we need a striker desperately. bennetts wages will be useful for that striker we need. I'm happy with the team in every department but up top where we need that 3rd striker to rotate with woolley and yates

Sorry for teasing on previous tweets, couldnt help myself. Those deals are ticking along nicely and are looking more and more positive. As reported elsewhere, Lloyd Isgrove has penned a deal with Swindon Town this morning and is due to be announced today or maybe tomorrow #STFC

Dossevi had 120 apps in the top 2 tiers in France and 20+ international caps. Nothing wrong with his pedigree.

I see today on their forum that Luton manager Graeme Jones has told Hylton he can stay for the coming season if he wants to fight for a place.

Make your mind up.
