But nobody really seems pissed off on here that we haven't signed anyone yet?
it'll come and I'm sure I'll be a culprit.
Its only a matter of time. The 2nd part is relevant to at least one post in this thread though, not a post by you.

Not good news!
'Southend United manager Kevin Bond is expecting striker Theo Robinson back at Roots Hall this summer, admitting he could well stay at the club.
He settled well under Richie Wellens and bagged seven goals in 16 outings for the Robins, prompting hopes he might make his move their permanent. However, speaking to the Echo News, Bond has said he expects the former Lincoln City man back in training for pre-season.'

Shame that, I liked him.
Ah well, he's not the only player out there. (And it still might happen).

I agree with FH, I think he would be an excellent signing and will probably bag 15+ goals in a full season with us but there are plenty more fish in the sea. No biggy if he doesn't sign but would be welcomed if he did.

So with the Bury situation looking worse and worse for them, do you think clubs, including ourselves, would be looking to their players for some possible deals?

Just because the club is fucked doesn't mean their players and agents will be looking for less money, if they're still in contract.... that might change if the club is liquidated, and they have no takers, but I'd guess it's a way down the line before bargains are to be had.

Mayor is the only Bury player who impressed me in the 2 games vs them, the rest didn't show much at all.

Here’s a few for PV - being a local lad!
Bevis Mugabe and Alex Fisher released by Yeovil.
Boateng released by Exeter - think he’d be a decent signing.
Just saw this, was in Scotland at the time! Hiram Boateng has signed for MK Dongs, Mugabe is a dirty bastard and Fisher is shit, hope this helps

Cambridge want Knoyle apparently. I'd be surprised if he ends up there.
Had a quick looky on the Cambridge forum see if there was any update on Knoyle, didn't find much except for a few comments. Swindon lost 1.4 Million in the 2016/17 season Propped up by our old mate Lee Power, no less!
Perhaps I’m naive but I do wonder if this rumour has some ‘legs’. I can’t remember the last time we were media linked with a player by the other club media. No smoke without fire etc.
I know what you mean, however there’s another article on that site which suggests the player hasn’t signed a new deal as he is holding out for a better deal elsewhere. Surely we’re not in a position to offer more than Swindon?...
It might not just be money. Maris, for example, is known to want to get back north, as does Halliday. Geography may well be a factor in this rumour too, with Cambridge much easier to get to from London than Swindon. Swindon is, of course, also a bit of a dump.
Have seen Knoyle 4 or 5 times over the last year or so, he would be a very good signing. Quick, direct, attacking. Still young. Can develop. Perfect. Mad to me that he'd choose us over Swindon but it seems to have legs.
